ABOUT ME
I'm born 1964 in Bonn Germany. Live in Aachen and Sankt Petersburg, Russia. I love art in image and word. I'm a writing and painting artist. Live between "East" and "West".
I am inspired by harmonic disharmonies, which can mainly be found in Bauhaus and German Expressionism. The idea behind the work is to defrag ostensibly surface areas and colours. That happen in a rhythm within a three-part arrangement. It is about creating a harmonious tension.
But not everything must fit together, which is why I use very unsuitable colours for a harmonic/disharmonic construct. The works should have a meditative influence on the viewer. That is what interests me.
The works are worked on Canvas. I will use self-made oil paper, adhesive tapes, which are painted with high quality oil colours (Old Holland). These tapes are solidly glued together and form a connection with areas of colour, which are also painted with high-quality oil paint (Old Holland).
